Ways to Relax or Meditate
Experience the peace and tranquility of using oils or essential oils. Lord knows I've told several women about these oils so I figured it was time for me to just post the link on my blog on where I get my essential oils and how I do it.
I know many of you especially women enjoy relaxing at home while burning candles. Well I'm going to tell you a big secret shhhhh!!!!!! I fired ALL my candles!!!! Ha ha ha!!! Never again will I be caught wasting my money on useless pieces of wax. I do like candles but the problem is that they are flat out junk. Let's face it! You're in the store and you smell them and think "Wow I want some to make my home smell like that." And they almost never live up to their expectations. Why? Because you needed to buy 7 or 8 of them and burn them all at once. You burn them and can barely smell them at all. Sound familiar??
Now I must be truthful. I did actually buy two candles a month or so ago and I will never ever burn them!!! I just keep them around to put my nose in them and smell them from time to time!!! The ones I bought were Caramel Cream and Grandma's Sugar Cookies. Now candles obviously are a good thing to keep around if the power ever goes out. God forbid but it does unfortunately happen sometimes. Or if you just like the relaxing romantic look of seeing a burning candle (even though you can barely smell it).
Well I have a solution! Thank God someone turned me on to fragrance oils. They do also have essential oils. And by the way, don't buy the cheap fragrance oils at Wally World. You all know I love to shop there but their oils are cheap junk!!! Trust me I know!!! These oils I got at a place called The Oil Bar. Hi Jamie!!! :) xoxo big hugs!!! They have lots of fragrance oils that can make your home smell very relaxing, calm and peaceful. Here is a guide to essential oils. Now I will also tell you that in my home, I keep it very tranquil. I don't have any kids so I do enjoy the luxury of peace and quiet. All you can hear right now are my indoor electric chimes and the peaceful sounds of the fountain from my aquarium. Yes it very soothing.
This is my set up in the picture above. All you need is a candle warmer which is about $10 or so on ebay. Then you get a candle dish (or whatever it is) that is only about $1 yes one dollar. And then you pour your oils in them (shake the bottle and all you need is about 8 to 10 drops. Maybe I use a little more. It;s so hard to tell. lol)
I enjoy relaxing and keeping my home like a day spa so I love to burn these oils quite often. I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first so I just tried one. They used to have a store at the Dayton Mall in Ohio near me. So I went up there and WHOOMP it smelled so diggy darn good in the store and they had all these different scents I was literally amazed. The really cool thing about using these oils is that you don't need much. You only need about 8 to 10 drops. (It's not easy for me to count how many I'm using) but it makes your whole room smell like mmmmmmmm relaxation heaven!!!!! I burn these oils in my candle warmer just to relax. You can burn these oils while you meditate. They leave your home smelling amazingly wonderful. They have lots of different scents to choose from.
